Spencer C. Butts

Spencer C. Butts joined the Butts, Schneider & Butts, LLP firm in the fall of 2011. He is licensed to practice law in the Minnesota State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
His practice is focused in:
- Administrating estates for deceased persons
- Business formation and planning
- Probate law
- Real estate
- Serving as an independent guardian, conservator, and trustee
- Wills and trusts
Outside of his law practice, Spencer enjoys
outdoor activities of all kinds as well as spending as much time as possible with his wife and young son.

Education
Spencer received his bachelor’s degree in 2003 from Kalamazoo College in Michigan. He worked for five years as a carpenter before attending Hamline University School of Law.
Honors and community
While at Hamline University School of Law, Spencer received the CALI® Award in two classes: estate planning and tax and a third year ethics seminar.
